Shimmering Smiles, Healthy Hearts Foundation, established in October 2014 and incorporated in 2015, is a public benefit, charity care, non-profit corporation organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes. Its primary purpose is to address, educate, coordinate, and provide free dental and medical aid to people in underdeveloped communities locally and globally.

     The goal is to go into rural areas and provide free health and dental care to these areas where medical facilities are not accessible or available and to eliminate dental pain and infection in patients through extractions and/or fillings, to educate locals in proper oral hygiene, and to provide preventative treatments for as many people as time and resources allow. Most especially, SSHH is committed to improving and expanding its preventative care program, which currently provides sealants, dental cleaning, fluoride varnish, oral hygiene and health education, vitamin supplements and providing oral hygiene supplies (such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, and floss).

     The goals for the medical sector is to provide basic prenatal care and well-child care, and to treat any acute needs such as infections, wounds, migraines, hypertension and other conditions. Additionally, we provide education on common disease prevention, nutritional eating, habits and behaviors to avoid illness and pregnancy care.
